Ursprünglich wurde die [[Subway-Station Hoyt-Schermerhorn Streets]] in [[New York City]] (Brooklyn) von sechs Linien angefahren, von denen es nur noch vier gibt. Dadurch sind zwei Bahnsteige ungenutzt, die mittlerweile für Dreharbeiten genutzt werden.

Im November und Dezember {{Jahr|1986}} wurde in der Zwischenebene das Musikvideo zum Song {{Filmtitel|Bad}} von Michael Jackson gedreht. Regisseur war Martin Scorsese. Veröffentlicht wurde der Song schließlich am 07.09.{{Jahr|1987}}.

Die volle Version des Musikvideos ein 16minütiger Kurzfilm. Das Video beinhaltet viele Anspielungen auf den Film "[[:Kategorie:Drehort "West Side Story"|West Side Story]]" von 1961.

Außerdem wurde hier u. a. für den Film {{Filmtitel|Der Prinz aus Zamunda}} gedreht. Dabei stellen die ungenutzten Gleise die der Haltestellen "Van Wyck Blvd" und "Sutphin" dar.

Das Gebäude existiert zwar noch, aber den [[Audubon Ballroom]] gibt es heute nicht mehr. Der Name lautet mittlerweile "[[Audubon Business and Technology Center]]".
